Austin Abrams in Talks to Star in 'Resident Evil' Remake Directed by Zach Cregger

Barbarian director Zach Cregger wrote the script for the upcoming Resident Evil reboot, and is also set to direct the feature.
Sony Pictures will produce the film, which will begin shooting in Europe this summer. Keep reading to find out more… Based on a video game series of the same name, the first film in the Resident Evil franchise was released in 2002, and stars Milla Jovovich.
