Justin Timberlake

Justin Randall Timberlake (born January 31, 1981), occasionally known by his initials JT, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, dancer, and record producer.

Raised in Tennessee, he appeared on the television shows Star Search and The All-New Mickey Mouse Club as a child. In the late 1990s, Timberlake rose to prominence as one of the two lead vocalists and youngest member of NSYNC, which eventually became one of the best-selling boy bands of all time.

Timberlake began to adopt a more mature image as an artist with the release of his debut solo album, the R&B-focused Justified (2002), which yielded the successful singles "Cry Me a River" and "Rock Your Body", and earned his first two Grammy Awards.

Audrina Patridge Recalls Being 'Humiliated' By Justin Timberlake at the VMAs 2007

Audrina Patridge is reflecting on her experience at the 2007 VMAs. In a newly published excerpt from her memoir, Choices: To the Hills and Back Again, the 37-year-old reality star looked back at an interaction she had with Justin Timberlake at the annual awards show. She added that Lauren and Whitney were “were beyond excited when Justin Timberlake won,” noting that “they were superfans.” On the other hand, Audrina said that Justin‘s music wasn’t her cup of tea, writing: “I couldn’t have cared less, but I was excited for them.” Once they were all on stage, she recalled that the Grammy Award-winning singer “wouldn’t even come up to us and accept the award in front of a packed house.” She said that Lauren and Whitney were “devastated” and she was “annoyed at his rude, diva behavior.” During his acceptance speech, Justin implored MTV to “play more damn videos,” telling the network, We don’t want to see the Simpsons on reality television, play more videos.” Audrina perceived his comments as a “personal attack” against reality TV, recalling that “Lauren‘s jaw dropped.
