A man has been left with life-threatening injuries following a murder bid in Glasgow. Emergency services were called to Guthrie Street in the Maryhill area of the city at around 5.45am on Saturday, November 19 after reports of the incident.
A 40-year-old man was rushed from the scene to Glasgow Royal Infirmary after he was found injured. His condition has been described as stable.
Police have now launched a probe into the incident and are attempting to track down two men in connection with the attack. One is described as being white, of stocky build and dressed in all-black clothing.
The second is described as white, of slim build, who was last seen wearing a white jacket with a ‘Just Eat’ logo and a yellow or mustard skip cap.Anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have seen the incident or men matching the description have been asked to get in touch with cops to assist with their enquiries.Detective Sergeant Stephen Palmer, Maryhill CID, said: “A man has sustained serious injuries as a result of this attack and we are appealing for information to help trace those responsible.
