It’s one of the most popular gaming franchises around the world, and now the developers behind Assassin’s Creed have announced a new game coming to Xbox Series X this winter.
The game is called Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and is set in the Viking age. In a blog announcing the game, Mikel Reparaz, Editor at Ubisoft, explained: “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla puts you in the role of Eivor, a Viking raider and clan leader, to forge a saga that stretches from the cold reaches of Norway to the lush plains of England.” The game features a new dual-wilding combat system, although that’s not to say that all of its combat is close-quarters.
