Ashley Park Reveals How She Sprained Her Ankle (& It Involves Beyonce!)

Ashley Park is opening up about her sprained ankle. In late January, the 31-year-old Emily in Paris star attended several events during Paris Fashion Show, but unfortunately had wear a cast and walk with crutches after spraining her ankle.

While appearing on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Friday (March 31), Ashley revealed how she sustained the injury – and it involves Beyonce! Keep reading to find out more… Ashley revealed that she sprained her ankle while attending Beyonce‘s show at the grand opening of the new Atlantis The Royal Resort in Dubai on January 21. “I was just walking to the bathroom afterwards, and I think I was just in a stupor a little bit.

I think my friend was holding my hand and let go,” Ashley recalled. “And it was a new hotel so the pathways, that you can kind of fall off of it and my ankle strap was a little bit loose, so I fell.” Ashley noted that she has “very weak ankles” and has surprisingly never sprained anything before because she has gotten “really good at falling,” but this time was different. “I didn’t realize I’d sprained my ankle cause I was so embarrassed that I fell into bushes,” Ashley added.

A shocked Jennifer asked, “You fell into the bushes?!” “Yeah I was like, ‘I’m fine. I’m fine. I’m okay.’ The dress was so short and so I had all these scratches, I was like, ‘I’m good,’ and then I got back to my seat, I was like ohhh that’s really – [my ankle] was like the size of my thigh,” Ashley recalled. “I was like, ‘I feel like that’s not great.’ So then I was in a wheelchair and crutches for a bit.” After Jennifer noted that the sprained ankle “didn’t stop” her from attending Paris Fashion Week, Ashley said that we all have to take care of our bodies. “Yeah I got a little overly
