The mum of one of the Burnley fans who organised the White Lives Matter banner is reportedly so ashamed of her son's actions that she can't face going to work.
A plane was flown over the Etihad during Monday's 5-0 defeat against Manchester City, shortly after players had taken the knee in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.
Jake Hepple claimed responsibility for the offensive banner and the Daily Mail claim Mark Hamer was also among the organisers.
Hamer, 36 was jailed for three years and eight months in 2011 for a clash with rival Blackburn supporters. His dad, George, claims his son's behaviour has left his wife unable to go to work due to the backlash.
