Available from today (August 24), the latest round of price drops from Asda covers some of the most popular products bought by customers each week, including nappies, infant follow on milk, bread, cheese, cereals, pasta, fish fingers, sausages and chicken breasts.
It is the second time in the past month that Asda has dropped its prices for its shoppers, as it dropped 226 household grocery staples and essentials by an average of 9 per cent in July.
The move comes after Asda's latest Income Tracker shows that family budgets remain under pressure from rising living costs, despite food inflation dropping to 12.7 per cent in August.
