Arsenal have decided to take a backseat in the pursuit of Christian Eriksen as Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain fight over his signature.
The Gunners are one of several sides who have been offered the chance to sign the Denmark international. Eriksen has struggled to make an impact at Inter Milan and Antonio Conte is happy to see him leave.
The Italian's style of football does not suit the 28-year-old, who prefers to play within the lines in the No. 10 role. In Conte's 3-5-2, such a role does not exist and he has made just three Serie A starts this campaign.
Arsenal had been linked with the playmaker, despite his Tottenham past, and have been offered a chance to sign him in January.
