Police have made an arrest after a man was reportedly raped behind a pub in Bolton. The alleged incident happened in the early hours of this morning, Sunday, January 23, shortly before 4.30am.
An officer on patrol from Greater Manchester Police was later approached by the male who reported he had been the victim of the assault.
Police have since arrested a man in his 20s on suspicion of rape who remains in custody at this time. The victim, who suffered physical injuries, is being supported by specialists currently. The investigation is ongoing but police have said they are not looking for anyone else at this time.
