Production was set to begin immediately in the Dominican Republican, but Lionsgate will recast Hammer's role in light of his decision to step back from the film.
A rep for the movie's “Armie has requested to step away from the film and we support him in his decision," per Variety. Hammer is also set to star in a sequel to the Academy Award-winning winning romantic drama, , in which he'll reprise his role as Oliver and appear alongside Timothée Chalamet.
