Ariana Grande has confirmed that the deluxe version of her album ‘Eternal Sunshine’ will not be released “soon”.While on the red carpet at the 2025 Academy Awards, where she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Wicked but lost out to Zoe Saldaña, Grande was asked by Variety about where she is with the album’s deluxe version and when it is expected to be out.A newer, deluxe version is not to be confused with the ‘Slightly Deluxe’ edition of the record that arrived in March last year.
That consisted of four additional tracks that weren’t on the standard issue of the album, and included a Troye Sivan feature.“It must come out,” she answered, before then claiming that she had her memory erased. “They did the Brighter Days memory erasure treatment to me, so I’m having trouble remembering the details, they’re foggy.”Grande was then asked if it would be released “soon”, but then claimed soon was a word she is “not allowed” to use. “Soon means ten days or less,” she said. “I’m not allowed to use this word, at the moment.
I’m not going to use that word today, I’ll say that.”Watch the video below. The singer also made it clear that she had no immediate plans to go on tour again.
