The 26-year-old singer claimed that she had been 'manipulated' in the past and said she stopped doing interviews because she felt her comments were being taken out of context for "clickbait".
During an appearance on Zane Lowe's Apple Music show, Ariana said: "And then, people would be like, 'Oh, she's a diva.' And I was like, 'This doesn't make any sense."' Ariana is now one of the world's biggest pop stars and has claimed that she is treated differently to her male counterparts, saying they are described as "brilliant" or "geniuses" if they express an opinion or defend themselves.
