The 31-year-old star of the upcoming movie will be belting out the Act 1 song “Popular” in the musical film, and a new teaser of her performance was just released on Wednesday (November 13).

However, with lyrics on screen in the clip, there was one wrong lyric that the actress and singer had to correct! In the song, Glinda sings, “Popular, you’re gonna be popular / I’ll teach you the proper ploys when you talk to boys / Little ways to flirt and flounce, ooh! / I’ll show you what shoes to wear, how to fix your hair / Everything that really counts to be / Popular, I’ll help you be popular.” The lyric people have been getting wrong? “I’ll teach you the proper ploys.” Many thought, and the lyric in the Wicked movie’s teaser video says “poise,” but it’s “ploys”!
