Manchester United fans are raving over loanee James Garner after he scored his first goal of the season for Nottingham Forest in their 2-0 Championship win over Peterborough United on Saturday.
The 20-year-old also grabbed an assist as his side stretched their unbeaten run to seven games. He got the match’s opener, after prodding the ball home from close range, to make up for a howler of an open-goal skew kick from Lewis Grabban.
Garner joined Forest on a season-long loan in the summer after a successful six-month spell with the club in the second half of last season, when he scored four goals in 20 games.
