The Completely Made-Up Adventures Of Dick Turpin is no more. Season 2 of the Apple TV+ comedy has been shut down after Noel Fielding pulled out around three-quarters of the way through the shoot.

The Sun newspaper first reported on Dick Turpin’s demise. Deadline understands that Season 2 cannot be salvaged and that producer Big Talk Studios has disbanded the cast and crew.

Apple, Big Talk, and Fielding’s rep at PBJ Management have been contacted for comment. In the irreverent retelling of the 18th-century highwayman’s life, Turpin is the most famous but least likely of robbers, whose success is defined mostly by his charm, showmanship, and great hair.

Together with his gang of lovable rogues, Turpin rides the highs and lows of his new endeavors, including a brush with celebrity.
