Former Miss Ireland model Aoife Walsh is spending the day at home in a dressing gown instead of a wedding gown after having to postpone her celebrations.

Aoife announced in late 2018 that she was engaged after she was proposed to by her long-term boyfriend Gary in Paris. Talk about a romantic engagement story.

Unfortunately, Aoife isn’t getting her fairy-tale ending just yet. As she has had to postpone her wedding day until the lockdown restrictions are lifted.

She shared on Instagram that she had: ‘a strange feeling waking up this morning’, on what would have been her wedding day. Frustration and mixed feelings for Aoife as she shares a dolled-up picture from her hen party on what should be one of the best days of her life.
