Anton Du Beke says Strictly Come Dancing 'getting really volatile' as he picks 'perfect' contestant

Strictly Come Dancing judge Anton Du Beke has given his verdict on his 'perfect' performance of the series so far. The professional dancer, who has performed on the BBC dancing contest with stars before becoming a judge, admitted that the pressure is mounting for the 2023 contestants.

Speaking on Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two, he said: "I know we say this every year but I think this year is really fascinating.

What I'm really loving is the fact that every week somebody else wins. "Adam won't be delighted in me reminding him but it was the first time at the weekend that we had someone right in the middle of the leader board, in the dance-off.

So now it's getting really volatile. No one is safe, everyone has got to be on their game. And it's so exciting."
