An Antiques Roadshow guest was left stifled when a family heirloom was unveiled as genuine Moorcroft. The latest instalment of the popular BBC One show saw the guest discuss the history behind his grandfather’s ceramic pot, which he thought would be worth a mere £300.
The gorgeous pot had been gifted to his grandfather by his work colleagues before it was passed down through the family. And when antique expert Eric Knowles quizzed the guest on the history of the heirloom, he soon realised that he had no idea of how much his grandfather’s beloved pot was worth.
