Many users are reminding the ADL of their response to Elon Musk‘s gesture that resembled the Nazi salute at a rally following Donald Trump’s Inauguration. “It seems that Elon Musk made an awkward gesture in a moment of enthusiasm, not a Nazi salute, but again, we appreciate that people are on edge,” read the statement posted by the ADL on X on January 20. “In this moment, all sides should give one another a bit of grace, perhaps even the benefit of the doubt, and take a breath.
