Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.

A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.

He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.

Here are your Manchester United morning headlines for Thursday, March 9. Martial returns to United first-team training Manchester United forward Anthony Martial took part in a full training session at Carrington on Wednesday afternoon.

Martial has not started for United since playing against Manchester City at Old Trafford on January 14. He was forced off the pitch with a hip injury at half-time during that game and his only appearance since was as a substitute against Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup at the beginning of February. However, the Europa League meeting against Betis has come too soon for Martial and he will not be available for that game.
