Anthony Joshua reckons his defeat by Andy Ruiz Jr and dealing with the criticism of the upset has made him tougher. The WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight champion regained the belts by getting revenge against Ruiz Jr last December.But the fallout from the June knockout defeat left Joshua facing a barrage of questions about his chin and ability.He said: “The pressure through last year was tough but it made me mentally stronger and gave me a thicker skin.“I have always been tough and wanted to fight the best.“I have nothing to lose and everything to gain.”Joshua defends his belts against IBF mandatory Kubrat Pulev at Wembley Arena on Saturday night.
