Anthony Gelling looks set for a surprise return to Super League with Leigh Centurions. Rugby League Live can reveal that the self-proclaimed 'Man of the People' is set to sign a short-term deal with the Centurions that will keep him at the club for the coming months.
The Cook Islands international was at Warrington Wolves last year but departed at the end of the season after coming to a mutual agreement with the club.
But the 30-year-old is now set for his third stint in the competition after returning to the UK and will link up with John Duffy's side.
His arrival helps fill a void in the Leigh squad, with centre Junior Sa'u set to miss the majority of the season through injury.
