Anthony “A.J.” Johnson was an actor and comedian known for roles in movies including “Friday” and “House Party.”Johnson’s breakthrough role was E.Z.E.
in “House Party” (1990). It was followed by roles in “Lethal Weapon 3” (1992) and “Menace II Society” (1993) before his best-known role came in 1995.
He played petty thief Ezal in “Friday” alongside Ice Cube and Chris Tucker. Johnson’s other movies include “Panther” (1995), “B.A.P.S.” (1997), and “I Got the Hook Up” (1998).
He was also featured in music videos by Dr. Dre and Eazy-E, and he made TV appearances in “Martin,” “The Parent ‘Hood,” and “Malcolm & Eddie.” Johnson was also a stand-up comedian who was featured on “Def Comedy Jam” in 1994.RIP Anthony Johnson.
