She has made no secret of her fondness for Botox and cosmetic surgery. But now Anthea Turner has revealed a rather less conventional method for maintaining youthful looks at the age of 61.
The TV presenter claims it is all down to taking a medicine that had been prescribed for one of her dogs. Miss Turner says the vet joked that the collagen pills would be good for her, too.
And while many would scoff at the comment, she took it literally. Their playful nature means raising and training a puppy is not quite a walk in the park.
But a poll reveals 17 per cent of dog owners found it even tougher than raising a baby. More than four in ten ‘struggled’ to look after their pet as a puppy, it said.
