Ant and Dec have said 'it's the end of an era' following a major ITV axeing. The duo took to their Instagram story to express their upset after ITV made the change following a 17-year stint.
The post comes after ITV confirmed it would be axing CITV. The announcement, which was made in August, was a punch in the gut to many who grew up watching it.
Ant and Dec were both familiar faces on the channel, along with co-star Cat Deeley. To mark the 'end of an era', the presenting duo shared a picture of themselves with their former co-star. Ant and Dec, both 47, and Cat, 46, hosted the children's Saturday Morning show on CITV from 1998 until 2001, when the duo left the show before Cat bowed out in 2002.
