Ansel Elgort traveled to Japan this week for events to celebrate his new HBO Max series Tokyo Vice!
The 28-year-old actor joined his co-star Ken Watanabe for a screening and press conference on Tuesday (April 5) in Tokyo, Japan.
An intimate screening and reception were held in honor of the show at The Peninsula Hotel Tokyo. Also in attendance at the events were cast members Shoo Kasamatsu, Hideaki Itô, Tomohisa Yamashita, and Rinko Kikuchi, as well as the inspiration of the series Jake Adelstein, creator/writer JT Rogers, and executive producer Alan Poul.
Tokyo Vice is new series loosely inspired by American journalist Jake Adelstein’s nonfiction, a firsthand account of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police beat.
