Love Island alum Maxwell Samuda is the latest Islander who has returned to his regular day job, choosing not to pursue a career in the limelight after his time in the villa. The 24-year-old, who is a finance student and restaurant host, will reportedly be venturing into a profession aligned with his studies and, speaking on the Secure The Insecure with Johnny Seifert podcast, Maxwell revealed he's already lined up a job.

However, he did add that he is happy to have his following from his time on the show as a back up if he ever tries his hand at influencing.

Maxwell said: "Right now the way that I see things is if I can have a bit of a combination with both of these areas at the moment then that would be amazing. "I worked too hard throughout my undergrad and my masters to say that I'm going to have nothing to do with that now.

But then I have an opportunity with like the show and social media, there's a small bit of influence if there's things that I want to create, it makes it a bit more easier to do that now." He added that he was offered a graduate job the same day he left for the South African villa, which he has now accepted and will be starting later this year.
