Emiliana Betancourt The Hammer Museum revealed its lineup for MoMA Contenders 2024, the annual film series organized by The Museum of Modern Art.
Ten nights of films will screen at the Hammer’s Billy Wilder Theater from Dec. 3 – Dec. 19, followed by exclusive conversations with actors, filmmakers, and special guests.
Among the features are highly anticipated dramas speculated to become Oscar contenders. The event is open to the public, and tickets can be purchased on theHammer website.
They are $20 for the general public and $10 for members. The series opens with Brady Cobert’s “The Brutalist” on Dec. 3 followed by Malcolm Washington’s “The Piano Lesson” with actress Danielle Deadwyler on Dec.
