Lola Lennox claims that she was inspired by Amy Winehouse's pitta bread lyrics as she paid tribute to the star on the tenth anniversary of her death.
The La La Love Me and Back at Wrong singer talked about how Amy would inspire her during her teenage years. Lola, whose own mum Annie Lennox has inspired many with her Eurythmics songs, said: "When I was a teenager I would listen to Black to Black - her lyrics are so emotionally raw and vulnerable and I felt i was just stepping into her world."I feel like she inadvertently taught me so much about lyrics and phrasing and the tone of a voice.
