Anne Hathaway opened up about three of her highly anticipated upcoming projects in a new interview. Speaking to WWD, the 42-year-old actress teased some details about returning to the fictional country of Genovia for The Princess Diaries 3.
She also opened up about plans for a long-awaited sequel to The Devil Wears Prada and reflected on landing a role in Christopher Nolan‘s mysterious but seriously star-studded new project.
The superstar also revealed a “weird” movie that she still has on her bucket list to make. Keep reading to find out more… The publication reported that Anne wants to start working on Princess Diaries 3 and Devil Wears Prada 2 “as soon as possible.” “I was so beautifully cared for on both of those films,” she said. “I was a baby, like a legal child, when I made Princess Diaries — I turned 18 while we were making it, and I was a very, very young woman when I made Devil Wears Prada.” She continued, saying, “I was so guided and looked after and cared for by the communities that made both of those films in particular, each of their directors, Garry Marshall and David Frankel.” “I’m so excited that now I can do that for other people, that now I have the knowledge and the experience and the confidence to take care of other people on sets in which I’m looked at as a leader,” Anne said.
What could she tell us about either project? “I cannot tell you a thing,” she said..
