The mother of a British hotel operator who was murdered on a Caribbean island has made a tearful plea after searching in vain for justice.
Helen Gobat said: “We don’t want to go to our graves without knowing who killed our son Oliver.” She is desperate after having spent more than £200,000 on detectives and forensic probes since he died.
Oliver’s body was found in his burnt-out Range Rover on a remote part of the family’s hotel resort in St Lucia. He was 38. Police said he had been bludgeoned and shot twice in the head.
