Angelina Jolie says playing a ‘broken person’ was ‘very healing’ amid Brad Pitt divorce

Angelina Jolie has claimed that her recent movie role has proved to be a "very healing" experience, as her divorce from Brad Pitt continues in court.

The 45-year-old actress has said that playing a "broken person" in her upcoming film, Those Who Wish Me Dead, has been therapeutic as she could identify with the trauma that her character had suffered.

Speaking in a behind-the-scenes video, Angelina revealed how she had connected with her character and how it had helped her away from the set.

Ange said: "I am drawn to people who have been through something and are broken and then find their way forward and overcome it. “As an artist, it’s very healing to play people like that.
