and special envoy recently announced the launch of Atelier Jolie, a purpose-driven fashion brand that will harness the skill of refugees and other talented (and under-appreciated) groups to create beautiful clothes out of deadstock.
For her first collection, the brand has teamed up with , and its creative director Gabriela Hearst, to create a capsule of womenswear that will highlight the work of the artisans involved in its making, and use lower-impact materials. Images of her in the atelier reveal she’s embraced , warming up her trademark chocolate tresses with a halo of white gold that delicately frames her face.Of course, it’s just the latest of many hair transformations for Angelina, who has experimented with a pixie crop in the past, and was a blonde in the ’90s when she put in her Oscar-winning performance in Girl, Interrupted (1999).Not only does it coincide with her updated CV, Angelina Jolie’s refreshed look also ushers in a new season.
