Angelica Ross said Wednesday that her American Horror Story: 1984 co-star Emma Roberts has apologized after Ross earlier in the day took to social media to accuse Roberts of misgendering her on the set of the Ryan Murphy series.
Ross, who is trans, said Roberts extended a private apology, thanking her for “calling and apologizing, recognizing your behavior was not that of an ally.

In another Instagram Live post, Ross revealed that that during a momentary break between AHS scenes and in conversation with a crew member, Roberts jokingly complained that Ross was being “mean” to her.
