Former Celtic striker Scott McDonald has hailed the "wonderful" impact of Ange Postecoglou and revealed his exploits have created a media storm back in Australia.
The Parkhead club roared to the top of the Premiership on Wednesday night as they took Rangers apart in a derby thrashing. The Greek-Australian boss was largely unknown in Scotland when he was appointed in the summer, following the failed pursuit of Eddie Howe.
Postecoglou has well and truly won the hearts of the Celtic support though, and his side are now in the driving seat for the title.
McDonald said on Sky Sports News: "The transformation since Ange Postecoglou came into the football club, what he's had to do in such a short space of time - nine of those 11 players last night were new signings. "So the transformation that he's been able to install at that football club and the style of play has been wonderful."Reo Hatate, one of signings in January, is already a superstar.
