The British duo were up against doubles specialists Sander Gille and Joran Vliegen – but the Belgian pair faced a duo who were in sync from the first game in Roland Garros and they succumbed 6-3, 6-7 (8-10), 11-9to the old pals reuniting for a final dance.
And now the unlikely adventure – which started with saving five match points against Japan on Sunday – continues with Murray and Evans dreaming of something truly spectacular at Roland Garros.
