Since then, Andy has tried his hand at golf and more recently skiing. The 37-year-old recently hit the Swiss Alps with his wife Kim, their four children and in-laws at the start of the year, and the trip was anything but smooth sailing.Speaking to Sir Chris Hoy, Andy revealed that the first few days were a disaster, he said: "The first two days were shocking.

I couldn't get off the ski lift, I couldn't get up. My wife refused to go on the ski lift with me because its just embarrassing isn't it."He then went on to confess that him and his brother-in-law had gotten stuck up a mountain on the first day of the trip, stating: "We were on a beginner slope and the ski lift to take you back up to the top was closing."There was another one slightly further down the hill and me and my brother in law were like lets go a little bit further and we will just go up the other ski lift."The pair had been on the beginner slopes all day, trying to get to grips with his new found hobby.
