Andy Murray delivers brutal Nigel Farage putdown after his meeting with family of Novak Djokovic

Scots tennis star Andy Murray has taken a swipe at Nigel Farage after the British politician flew to Serbia to visit Novak Djokovic’s brother on the night of the Serbian’s court hearing in Australia.

Djokovic’s legal team won their case for the Serbian sports star to remain in Australia, after his visa was initially revoked by the Australian Border Force.

The tennis player’s name has dominated global headlines over the last week. He has publicly stated his position against vaccination in the past and has not had the Covid vaccine, but claimed to have tested positive for the virus on December 16 which supposedly made hom exempt from the country’s strict policy on visitors being vaccinated before entering.Farage, who is sceptical of vaccinations, posted a video on his Twitter account where he walks into what appears to be Djokovic’s trophy room to meet his family.The video was captioned: “In the trophy room with Novak’s brother Djordje.”At the same time Djokovic was making his way to court on the other side of the world in Melbourne to try and gain entry to the county.However Murray took a shot at Farage, who has campaigned for tougher borders in the UK for many years.The three-time Grand Slam winner wrote: “Please record the awkward moment when you tell them you’ve spent most of your career campaigning to have people from Eastern Europe deported.”Previously, Murray was asked his opinion on the Djokovic situation and told reporters in Melbourne: “I’m going to say two things on it just now.
