Manchester United ambassador Andy Cole believes the club's players can showcase their skills in this summer's pre-season friendly against Wrexham.
The Welsh club will face Erik ten Hag's team in San Diego on July 26 as United come to the end of their tour of the United States.
Football director John Murtough has already confirmed that the exhibition match will feature several academy players, with the Premier League season starting just over a fortnight later.
Cole attended an event at Snapdragon Stadium announcing the friendly alongside Wrexham co-owner Rob McElhenney. The two were also joined by San Diego Loyal co-founder Landon Donovan.
