Andrew Matarazzo to Lead Western Short ‘Roses’ With Ronen Rubinstein and Orlando Pineda (EXCLUSIVE)

Directed and co-written by Alexander Rain, “Roses” will co-star Ronen Rubinstein (“9-1-1: Lone Star”) and Orlando Pineda (“Griselda” and “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story”).
Filming begins on Dec. 16. The movie’s official synopsis reads, “Two outlaws (Matarazzo and Rubinstein), once close partners in crime, find themselves at odds when a once-in-a-lifetime bounty comes into play.
But what seems like a simple betrayal is complicated by their deep bond and shared history, leading to a heartbreaking choice between the loot… or their friendship.” “Roses” will feature a song of the same name written by Matarazzo, Hannah Avison and Jesse Bluu.
