Andrea McLean has revealed she suffered a breakdown last year that she kept away from the public.The 50 year old made the revelation on Loose Women today, where she was joined by co-stars Nadia Sawalha, 55, Brenda Edwards, 51, and Coleen Nolan, 55, for the first time since March.

As the panellists discussed how they've been coping in lockdown while the NHS continues to fight the deadly coronavirus, Andrea explained that she was well prepared for it after going to therapy last year.

The mum-of-two said: "I had a breakdown last year which is not something I've spoken about but I did." She confessed that if she had gone through it this year instead, amid the pandemic, she wouldn't have been able to deal with it too well.
