And Just Like That… is back for this Thursday with the first two episodes, followed by a new installment every week. I’ve seen the first seven made available to press; without giving away too much, let’s just say you’re in for an emotional ride.
This season feels more like the original Sex and the City series, and agrees. “It feels there is a total familiarity to Sex and the City,” she tells Glamour. “Carrie has resurfaced from this grief [following Big’s death], which…wasn’t an emotion that was familiar to her.
So it’s really nice to be in a season that is about hope and joy. It’s fun to consider and experience what it is to be single for Carrie in this particular city at this time, given her recent life.”Parker goes on to say that the sophomore season of AJLT is “a buoyant, hopeful, optimistic, disappointing, silly, whimsical, absurd season.” She couldn’t be more accurate.
