Ana de Armas has given her two cents on the question of whether there should be a female Bond role.Speaking to The Sun, the 34-year-old actress said, 'There's no need for a female Bond.'The Cuban-born entertainer's opinion on the matter is particularly noteworthy, as she starred in last year's No Time to Die.

Her opinion: In a new interview Ana de Armas said, 'There's no need for a female Bond''There shouldn’t be any need to steal someone else’s character, you know, to take over,' she explained to the outlet.De Armas continued, 'This is a novel, and it leads into this James Bond world and this fantasy of that universe where he's at.' Rather, the movie star said she'd like to see roles with more substance for women.'What I would like is that the female roles in the Bond films, even though Bond will continue to be a man, are brought to life in a different way,' Ana said to the publication.
