Landing even a small supporting role in a TV show with a cult following like Line of Duty lends itself to serious CV bragging rights for any actor.
Dublin actress Amy De Bhrún, walked away from playing Steph Corbett in two episodes of series five of the smash hit BBC series feeling grateful, and thinking that was it.
Her storyline riffed off that of her on screen husband John, played by Stephen Graham, and when he was (spoiler alert) killed off, it seemed so too was her story.
But she was wrong. ‘I went away thinking that was a really lovely experience,’ she says speaking to EVOKE from her home in Dublin. ‘Per series, Jed [Mercurio, the show’s creator] writes the first four episodes and while you’re filming writes the final two.
