Manchester United’s start to the season has been far from good but their injury list hasn't helped matters. The club had a total of 10 players sidelined going into Wednesday’s 4-3 loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
However, brighter news may be on the horizon. Erik ten Hag has named four players who could return for Saturday’s trip to Burnley, where anything but a win will turn up the heat on the United boss.
Some of them may even come straight into the starting XI to try and arrest the team’s poor form. Erik ten Hag said on Friday he would be assessed after training. Possible return date: September 23 The midfielder has missed the last four matches thanks to a muscular injury but returned to training alongside Varane ahead of Bayern.
