Michael Schneider Variety Editor at Large “American Dad!” is finally getting its own soundtrack. The show’s cast and producers revealed on Saturday at San Diego Comic-Con that an album featuring between 12 to 14 of the series’ most memorable songs (such as “Daddy’s Gone” and “When I Dress My Body”) will be released on streaming services including Spotify and Apple Music, timed to the premiere of the next season on TBS Voice acting stars Wendy Schaal, Scott Grimes, Rachael MacFarlane, Dee Bradley Baker and Jeff Fischer joined executive producers Matt Weitzman, Kara Vallow and Nic Wegener to talk all things “American Dad!” in Ballroom 20 at the San Diego Convention Center.
Executive producer Matt Weitzman shared a list of guest stars coming to next season, including Charles Barkley, Michael Imperioli, Leslie Jones, Joel McHale, Bret The Hitman Hart, Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, Neal McDonough and both Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick.
Weitzman additionally shared some upcoming plot points. In one episode, Roger and Stan (both voiced by Seth MacFarlane) get in a train accident, and in order to save their lives they have to join bodies.
In another, Rogu (voiced by Dee Bradley Baker) gets a deadly illness and whole family has to pretend they’re doctors to save him.
