AMC, PBS U.K. Arms Join Free Streamer Freely Together With GB News and QVC (EXCLUSIVE)

K.J. Yossman AMC Networks International U.K. and PBS America are among the latest channels to join free TV streamer Freely in the U.K.

The two broadcasters, along with news network GB News and shopping channel QVC, have inked a deal with Everyone TV, the org.

behind Freely to offer their channels on the platform. The deals mean that Freely now offers over 40 live channels and over 74,000 hours of on demand content via streaming, without the need for an aerial or satellite dish.

Freely, which is available on next-gen smart TVs, is backed by U.K. public service broadcasters BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5.
