Amber Heard has welcomed a baby daughter via surrogate. The Aquaman actress, 35, announced the happy news on her Instagram account on Thursday night by sharing a photo of herself and her daughter.

In the caption of her post she confirmed she had named her daughter Oonagh Paige Heard, and said the little one was born on April 8 this year.

Amber appears to have become a mother via surrogacy as she was not visibly pregnant when she had been seen in recent months.

In the photo she shared, Amber was cuddling her baby daughter, who slept soundly on her chest. Amber captioned the photo: "I'm so excited to share this news with you. "Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child.
