Amber Heard has told a court she feared ex-husband Johnny Depp would kill her during an argument on board the Orient Express during their 2015 honeymoon, as she detailed alleged violent conduct by the Pirates of the Caribbean star.

The actress said she was pinned against the wall of the train by Depp, adding: “I remember thinking that he could not even mean to kill me, [I was] scared that he wouldn’t even mean to do it. ”The Aquaman star returned to the witness stand on Monday after a week-long break in the defamation battle.

Depp denies any abuse and is seeking $50 million in damages over an op-ed in which Heard referred to herself as a survivor of domestic abuse.

She has filed a counter-claim for $100 million. She told the court of their relationship: “No matter what I did, no matter what I did to de-escalate, none of it changed his rage towards me or calmed him down.
