Amber Heard reminded jurors that "I am a human being" as she detailed the effects of Johnny Depp's defamation lawsuit on her life as she gave evidence for the second time.

The Aquaman star claimed to have received "thousands" of death threats since proceedings began while also describing the whole process as "agonising, painful and humiliating".

Mr Depp is suing his former partner over a Washington Post article she wrote in 2018 which his lawyers say falsely implies he was physically and sexually abusive.

Mr Depp denied all accusations. Closing arguments for the 50 million dollar lawsuits are expected to take place on Friday after a six-week trial which saw evidence come from various family members, friends, colleagues and medical experts.
